youth of Nigeria and its environs. Our
programmes seek to equip youths with the

Teens
7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens is
a one-day leadership programme from the
FranklinCovey franchise managed by ReStraL.
It is an international and extremely contemporary
programme designed to help teenagers apply
timeless principles of successful behaviour
to tough issues and life-changing decisions
they face today. Through this training,
teens will be better prepared to stand
up for themselves and resist peer pressure,
be more goal-oriented and view life as
a positive, meaningful experience. It
is offered either as an open or in-house
programme for schools (it can in fact
be offered as part of the school curriculum!).

Teens
Leadership Circle (TLC)
This
is a two-day programme that seeks to equip
teenagers with basic skills and knowledge
they need to make the right decisions.
It enhances their ability to deal positively
with others and build effective relationships.
The programme also enables them identify
key goals (in line with their personal
vision) and helps them to achieve them.
It is from the ReStraL stable of programmes
and developed within the context of generic
leadership principles, and also with a
focus on the likely challenges being faced

Focus
on Women
Another
important target for ReStraL's community
focus is the women-folk. Women in the
course of the twentieth century found
a "voice" in their various communities
and societies, yet they continue to battle
with various dynamics in attempting to
fulfill their roles in their families,
peer groups and society at large. ReStraL
has programmes uniquely designed to address
the leadership needs of women, some of

Women Leadership Development
Initiative (WLDI)
The
Nigerian woman struggles with the fear
of challenging stereotypes and breaking
out of the mould she has grown up with.
In addition, there is the incidence of
low self-esteem among many who have not
have been able to pursue a career; and
for those that do, the gnawing doubt that
arises from the constant battle to balance
career and family needs. WLDI focuses
on supporting women to have a strong foundation
in self-awareness and self-management
in order be powerfully effective leaders,
irrespective of position held. Following
the belief that leadership is not positional,
this program provides women with the skills
to be active agents, not only of their
own lives but in the lives of others as
